  18. VirtualDisk™ is a totally new way of keeping track of files on your removable media - floppies, SyQuest, M/O, CD's, network, etc.

  20. You never run a program to catalog or retrieve files. Disks are cataloged whenever the disk is removed. The catalog is a Macintosh volume that mounts on your desktop and is accessed with the Finder, Find File... or even Get File dialogs from within applications.

Each file cataloged has all the capabilities of a System 7 alias but does not take the disk space of normal aliases. The catalog is complete Macintosh file system, so the files are displayed as icons within folders that looks exactly like the original disk. You may use any of the view modes from Finder.
